The oddities in Bella's behavior are starting to show more and more, I'm wondering how long will it take for Charlie to realize how much abuse his daughter has endured. Poor Bella, you describe her in such a way that I just want to hug her and try to make her feel better.
I understand where Emmett's demand to Rosalie came from, but I think he was too harsh. Rose should have filtered her thoughts a lot, maybe even completely censored them, until she got a better knowledge of Bella's character, but hopefuly she will understand what she did wrong both times and change her way of talking to Bella a bit, at least until she makes Bella understand she is not attacking her, nor trying to belittle her.
I'm wondering if/when we will hear from Bella herself. All this change must be very scary for her.

I'm so excited to start reading this story, the summary just caught my attention, it seemed very interesting.
Poor Charlie, having been denied his daughter for all of her life. And Emmett is right in being cautious, they don't know how Bella will behave, and I understand his reluctance, for himself and for his father.
I loved the dynamics among Charlie, Emmett and their friends, they all support each other and are very caring.
The bit about Edward being in love with the carpet cleaner just cracked me up, just the image of Edward caressing the handle of that thing is priceless. lol

Great chapter, so many things happened. I still kept up though, lol.
I feel bad about the Rose/Emmett/Rose sitch, I hope it doesn't get too messy, maybe she'll find Cam Gigandet, I mean James *cough cough*, yes James.
I'm so happy for Bella and Edward they're such a cute couple, and Alice's enthusiam was very cute. Alice's forgiveness and loyalty to Rose is also sweet.
And I totally had the 'hand holding' debate on my first date, lol, so that was a nice touch, maybe if I had an Edward and some snowcaps I may have been more calm.
Really awesome work, can't wait to see the next chapter.

Loved this chapter. The development with Rose's character is keeping some potential drama in the mix as we wait to see what happens with her and Emmett as well as my feeling so anxious to learn if my guess about what's happened to her is accurate or not. It should be interesting to see everyone's varying reactions to whatever she does share with them eventually. Vicky being so likable leaves me wondering how all of that will pan out without leaving me incredibly sad for one young woman or the other.
Bella's lack of realization that she and Edward were going on a date was incredibly cute. She is so unassuming; I can totally understand Edward being charmed by her.
Alice's exuberant enthusiasm for everything life throws her way is so fun and makes her the kind of friend you love to have, even when she proves to be exasperating.

I absolutely freaking love Charlie in this story, Emmett too. I know it's fiction, but it makes me sick when a parent throws their kid away and signs over their rights. I hope this is the end of Renee, but I doubt it.
