Thank you. Laura, for another lovely read! I especially loved the tweak to the Quileute lore, about the drop of vampire venom! The fact of Edoardo and Isabella being the first Italian immigrants to North America was just priceless!

Author's Response:

I am so happy you liked it! I get so irritated by the Quileute Elders prejudiced attitude that I wanted a small revenge on them!

Adding to the original story and making it better, has to be the true joy of writing! So far so good, can't wait until the end!

Author's Response:

Ha ha I have a little surprise at the end. I hope you like it!

Tania's magic has to be of the black variety, it's causing so much misery for Edoardo, at least. I'm so glad Isabella found her way back to him, even though in the form of a dove.

Author's Response:

Poor Tania, she is so often the bad one, isn't she?

I can see why your grandmother didn't add the lovemaking at the end of this story, but I'm sure she probably thought about it! How nice that Edoardo and Isabells waited for each other!

Author's Response:

Ah, by the way, I produced a PG13 version of this story for the (English speaking) kids of a friend. If you have in your family somebody who would like it, I can send it to you.

A  very good thing Eoardo met the white witch, Alice, or he would never have known how to secure the three bloody oranges. Of course, now two of them are gone, and he only has one left. Perhaps Alice will appear to help him out!

Author's Response:

In the original fairy tale the Prince is rather a dumbass. He cut open the second orange just because he was thirsty, here he hopes to give something to drink to the beauty who came from it. In general my Prince is brighter, here and in the rest of the story. Well, he is Edward, after all.

Don't know how this one escaped my attention, as I love myths and fairy tales. Edoardo is paying a heavy price for refusing Tania, and sending away the virgins. Sure hope he can find the answer to his dilemma, and soon!

Author's Response:

Hi you, so happy to hear from you again! It is dedicated to my dear grandmother, who told it to me many times, having heard it herself from her aunt Rosa (Who was a girl in 1870!). So it is part of my family folklore. But no vamps there!

Hah! What a lovely end for these two! I particularly relish the expressions on the elders' faces if they were told their shapeshifting powers came from a diluted vampire line!

Author's Response:

I am so glad that you liked it! And the prejudiced attitude of the Quileutes in the Saga pissess me off, so I had my little revenge here.

Thank you for reading!

Is English not your native tongue? If so, you are doing a remarkable job! If not, the same!

Author's Response:

I am Italian and live in Rome. And thanks for the great compliment (I have also good editors, I have to admit).

:)

Author's Response:

Thank you. (But at least for the last chapter you could have spoken to me ...). Anyway, in the next few days I am going to post some one shots and then I'll start something longer. If you like the way I write, put me on author alert ...

Ciao

that was beautifully written, very well done.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. In a sense the timeless language of fairy tales is easier for me to do that, say, high school chidren's chatter. That I'll not try ...
