Thanks so much for reviewing, the first chapter eight i posted had a whole werewolf angle to it, a little different to twilight but i have just too much going on to do it justice. A sequel might be a good idea in the future when i don't have so many stories going round in my head lol.

I like the fact that you had Edward change Bella after James bit her; it's better than the original work that drew it out for 3 books! LOL That's just my opinion anyway. I am glad that you are keeping up with your story and I can't wait to read more!

Well, I am reading it just because it is AU, otherwise I wouldn't. It is not very clear what happens after he has saved her and she has seen him killing the rapist vampire-style. Maybe you will go back to it, you should. Edward leaving the Cullens is largely unexplained. His transformation is Canon, but evidently he is not the oldest, you say thate there was the rest of the family already. However the Spanish flu epidemic was after WWI, so the timing is confusing.
I'll comment more after reading more.

Thanks for reviewing, things are a little unclear but i hope reading a little more things will come to light. Edward is the oldest of the ones Carlilse changed, he stayed with his family at first which is why Edward mentions the others.
Anyway i hope you enjoy the rest of the story and things become less confusing.

WOW this was dark but very VERY good!
Favorite line:
"This goddamned city was just like that dog, starving, been eaten alive by it’s own corruptness but struggling to survive despite the hopelessness. If ever a place was damned by god than this was surely it."
This line literally took my breath away! WONDERFUL! IDK if you've ever read the graphic novel Alan Moore's "WATCHMEN" (one of the greatest works EVER) but it reminded me of that sort of writing!

Thank you so much for the lovely review. I have read watchmen and some of the sin city graphic novels, i wanted this story to sound like that but didn't know if it would work out. I kind of see Edward as one of those type of characters, flawed but ultimately with more humanity than some people.
