I'm glad Officer Dan believed Edward and tried to help him.  Hopefully he'll be able to keep the phone Renee gave him away from his parents. Eighteen can't come soon enough for poor Edward.

His reality sucks !!  I am glad the officer lisened to him and tryed to help him.  I am afraid for him going back into that house.

Poor Charlie (and Bella and Renee).  I hope he'll be able to fight this off now that he's in the hospital.  Thank goodness Edward found Bella and got her to the hospital.

Wow, Edward's parents have sunk even lower now.  Reporting him, for what?  I'm assumin they said he assaulted his father.  Maybe this will turn out to be a good thing.  Maybe his parents will have to take responsibility for the abuse they've thrown out at him.

Looking forward to the next chapter.  I can't wait to find out what happens next!

it is too bad that poor eddie doesn't know how to deal with adult/parental affection and caring. my 'extra kid' had issues like that when he first came to stay with us, we loved him, showed him routine and rules, and he thrived. but it was really hard for him after we had him for 4 months and his mom made him go home and he lost all of that. he still knows that we are here for him whenever the need is there. it sucks that kids have to live like this and it is amazing what happens to them when the are treated with love and respect.

as you can see this really touches close to my heart.

OH lord, this can't be good, this thing with Charlie.   I really hope he's going to be okay, but I just have this feeling that he's not.   And what happened with Edward?   He never called Bella back or came over.   I just hope that things are going okay over at his house.   Six more months or not, I say Edward needs to get out of there already.  It's certainly not going to improve.

I thought that was very sweet what Edward and Jasper did for Charlie - shaving their heads and all.   Very nice.   And I'm also happy that Edward and Bella had time together as well.   He needs her more than ever, just cuz of his sad and twisted home life.   After every chapter, I just feel so bad for him.   His family is terrible to him and he doesn't do anything to deserve it.   They treat Emmett like royalty and really he's the one that starts all the trouble.   

I love the girly products for Charlie.  That was hilarious.  I thought it was so sweet that Edward and Jasper shaved their heads too.  Hopefully the transplant will be successful.

Also, I just love all the Bella/Edward stuff.  They're so sweet.

First, I'm so glad they found a donor for Charlie!  That's fantastic news.

Second, what Bella had to go through at school was awful.  I don't blame Edward for beating the crap out of Emmett.  I would say Emmett has pretty much killed his friendship with Alice and Bella now.  How petty and immature of him.

Jasper cracked me up in this chapter.

Yeah, Emmett sure is a great friend - NOT!!!   I'm sorry, but whether he's jealous of Edward or not, you just don't go around making those kind of accusations about somebody, especially if you know they are not true.   That's just downright mean.   And how embarrassing was that for Bella - to prove that Edward wasn't abusing her?   Emmett should really be ashamed of himself, but knowing him, he just looks at it as another way for his parents to look down at Edward.   Edward needs to get out of that house - now!!!

OH Emmett is a slimmy bastard fake to the core just like his mom.  Jasper is a kick in the ass.  I love how Bellas family stand beside them and showing there support.  Public school should be interesting for Bella.  Hope the tansplant is a sucsess.

What is the freaking deal with Emmett?   You know, for someone who was such good friends with Bella, he sure blew it, bigtime?   What an ass!!!    Why is he being this way with Bella?

Well, Edward's family is certainly a piece of work.  I want to feel bad for Emmett's hurt feelings, but with the way he's treating Bella and being so childish and vindictive with Edward, I just can't.  It's amazing that Edward is as caring as he is given what he's come from.  I'm so glad Bella has his support through this.  It's looking like she's going to be leaning on him even more soon.  I'm really hoping Charlie will eventually be okay.  He's just such a great guy and an awesome dad.

I feel so sorry for Charlie ... and Renée ... and Bella ... and Edward ... and Emmett. Really, I feel bad for them all lol. Edward and Emmett have to deal with so much with their messed up parents and the rivalry between them whereas Charlie, Renée and Bella have to deal with Charlie's cancer. :( It's so sad.

Anyways, I loved how you depicted the side affects of the chemo. It was very raw and realistic.

Emmett is such a jerk in this chapter! I mean, I can see his reasoning - he's always been second best to his football-crazed father because he doesn't play it, and he's always been jealous of Edward. So yeah I'd be pissed too. AND if that's not enough, now Edward's stolen his girl Bella. If I was him, I would probably react the same way. So on that level, I can understand it. BUT on the other hand, Emmett knows how sick Charlie is. He might be bitter now but even though he's angry, he can't just ignore the severity of Charlie's illness. Maybe he didn't consider that the reason Edward was out so late migh be because of Charlie and just thought they (Edward and Bella, not Edward and Charlie. lol) were rolling around in Edward's Volvo or something lol So he wanted to get Edward in trouble.

But still, even though I sympathise with him (and although, this review doesn't sound like it, really like him) he's such a douche!

Anyways, I hope you update soon because I'm going crazy thinking about what could have happened. I'm guessing that either -

1. The results show that Charlie isn't responding to the treatment
2. The results show that Charlie's cancer has spread
3. The results show that Charlie's cancer is terminal/too advanced to be "cured" and the only thing the doctors can do for him is put him under a different treatment to "prolong" his life, instead of "curing" it like they were originally doing with the chemo.
4. Charlie got really ill during the night

I knew Emmett was not going to take it well but grow up man and then to be such a pussy with his mommy covering his ass.  Edward knows how to man up and would his mom just jump off it would be one thing if she was concerned instead of just wanting to control.  Poor Charlie it is hard to see a man that has always been so strong to show weekness just found out today my dad has cateracts.

I think Emmett just ruined his longstanding friendship with Bella by being an idiot and I really don't see her forgiving him anytime soon.

I feel kind of bad for Emmett. If I was Emmett, I would be raging too if my bestfriend - and possibly, maybe, the girl I was crushing on / thought was hot - was going out with my (in my opinion) asshole brother. lol

I love your characterisation of Jasper. I hope he doesn't completely take a 180 when he meets Alice and immediately becomes like the perfect boyfriend, as I've read in many fanfictions. I'm hoping that him and Alice will get together (of course) eventually but that he doesn't completely change his whole behaviour and personality overnight. But I'm sure you've already got that covered (:

Also, from what we've seen of Edward so far, I'm absolutely clueless how wrong Emmett is about Edward! From what I've seen of him so far, he seems pretty much perfect  (No, that's not right as that would be kinda insulting you since good authors don't want to create "perfection") perfectly flawed (which is a big compliment). And hot. Very very VERY hot.

I can't decide if I like or hate (in a good way - not in a "he's such a pansy" hate) the fact that he's a bit of a pussy when it comes to his mother. Love it. I'm hoping that when Edward and Bella get closer, she'll help him stand up to her and Edward Sr.

Oh! I can't wait until the dance and Emmett's reaction. Hopefully the former will happen before the latter though LOL

Good chapter.  It's a shame Edward's parents don't trust him since it doesn't sound like he's ever done anything to not be trusted.  I'm glad Charlie agreed without much trouble.  I'm sure Emmett will find out at some point.  I hope it doesn't ruin their friendship.  Looking forward to seeing how the dance goes!

Aw, I like Edward and Bella together; he's already starting to act differently just being around her.   Emmett, though, I don't know what to make of him.   I can't believe that he lied and said that Bella said something bad about him when she didn't say it.   That was just not right.  And Bella wasn't happy to hear it, either.   I'm looking forward to more Edward and Bella time.  

I'm glad we got to see Edward's POV this chapter.  It's nice to know he's not the jerk he appeared to be.

Good chapter, though I'm waiting for some more interaction between Edward and Bella.   Eventhough they only spoke for a moment, there was an obvious connection there.
