I have enjoyed this story. Thank you for sharing it with us. But I still do not understand why Edward did not leave Jane when she was so cruel to him. He had a choice. In this chapter, he said he did not want to e d up like his parents. What did he mean by that? I thought his parents loved each other and was respected in the community.
