I think this is one of the best short-stories I have ever read. I love it soo much, especially those little details, like the exact times that are mentioned or how one decision changes the whole outcome of one person.
What was really a pity though is the fact that Bella and Alice are not reunited at the end. I would have loved to see it again, because I think this would be the perfect ending for the story and the cherry on top of their newfound happyness :)

that was so cute. i loved it. at first i by pass it not thinking anything of it. i absolutely loved the story. she went through alot and ended up with a happy ever after. it would be cute to maybe see what happens after. or what happened to alice and why she is on the streets as well.

Okay - I'm just repeating what everyone else said but I loved this! It made me smile AND tear up at the same time! You are such a wonderful writer. Sometimes reading stories that go back and forth on 1st person POVs gets old. It seems to flow much better this way. Not to say I don't like 1st person too but your writing style in this story is refreshing. I didn't read the story info right and went in thinking it wasn't complete. So I was bumming out half way through thinking I'd have to wait for updates on this heartwarming story. This is probably the first time I've ever been happy that a story wasn't multiple chapters! Anyway - loved it! I'm definitely going to be checking out your others when I have time to enjoy them!

Goodness!!! I have tears in my eyes as I'm writing this. This was amazing!! I loved everything about it; the math (counting), the small character insights (Jessica and Mike backstory), Alice, Rosalie, the time frame; everything was perfect. I love the flawed characters and how perfect it made them. Perfectly human. Homelessness is a huge problem in this country, along with the foster care system and adoption; did you know that while the US adopts more international children than any other country, we still have a huge surplus of unadopted children (mostly african-american males) unmatched by any other so-called developed country? Sorry, this wasn't meant to be a rant; thank you for shining some light upon the hardships of foster care and homelessness (all in the form of a beautiful story)!
