There was a lot covered in this chapter. Glad Alice is okay, but the palace doesn't seem the safest place to be.
It reminded me of Willoughby taking Marianne Dashwood to his family estate in Austen's Sense and Sensibility (it didn't work out well for Marianne) when Edward took Bella to the princess suite. Of course, we later learned that he had taken Rosalie to his own suite.
Why do they have to be interrupted when Edward begins to speak to her? He should have started his goodbyes with her.
I still think her worst threat is her clandestine involvement with Jacob.

I understand why Bella is insecure the past with Jake, Edward Jr. being unreasonable at times, and Edward Sr. dismissing her so wholly that even insiders can see it and tell the public... but damn Edward Jr. has grown and has declared himself time and time again from the very beginning.
