I'm liking this story, so far, but I must admit that Bella is a bit off putting. She's extremely ungrateful & willful, as well as illogical. She has absolutely no means to take care of herself, nowhere to live, & psycho James after her, along with his thug friends, wanting to rape & kill her, yet she still wants to leave Edward's despite that he's been nothing but kind to her.
Her father was a piece of shit, they weren't close, not to mention that he gave her away to a man that he knew was a criminal, to try to save his own ass, so I don't know why she'd care that he's dead or not. If you ask me, Edward done her a favor by getting rid of that scumbag.
She doesn't have a dime to her name, so I don't know how she thought she'd get down the block in NYC, let alone anywhere else. She's just not acting like a woman who's supposed to be smart enough to be in college. She's the type of woman in a story who is beyond annoying, & that you don't root for. Imho, she doesn't deserve Edward, even though he's a criminal, or a HEA. He should let her go like she wants & let her see what trouble is out there waiting on her. That's the only way an idiot like her will learn. She'll come crawling back, if she survives. And I think that Rose knows more than Bella gives her credit for. The only dummy here is Bella.
