I love that Alice was brave enough finally to allow little M to heal her. How sweet. I liked the whole healing and adopting Hercules the dog part as well. The poor little girl in the cemetary sure has a lot to look forward to. Hopefully she calls for some help or adcvice.

The best fics, and certainly all of yours that I've read, always manage to throw in some subtle nod to canon. Breaking the headboard was it for this chapter. Not subtle, but used ever so gently to remind us readers where these wonderful stories come from. That Alice would be so selfless doesn't surprise me. Nevertheless, I am mildly irritated at her for putting herself in imminent danger. I know you'll get her out of this. I will enjoy taking the ride that this story brings to rescue her and bring down V.I. I may even relish the demise of a bad guy or ten. Thanks for some of the best entertainment around!
