I thought the heated blanket was too cut to pass up, especially as Charlie always has Bella's comfort and safety utmost on his mind. Now, the sex...pivotal moment for them as he really thought for a fraction of a moment that he was going to kill her. Again, she proved to be the stronger one as she pulled him back from that point and anchored him. Yes Laurent had to go and ruin a perfectly wonderful day. Let's just say that Edward is not going to react well.

*sigh* Jasper is one of my favorites. He's usually treated like a human xanax given his ability - so he shoulders a lot. But damn, that man calls it like he sees it and to be willing to throw down with Edward if he screws this up with Bella? Hell yeah! Like he said, she's the only person EVER to not blame him for his loss of control. Not once. And even if Alice said she didn't, he could feel that hesitation in her (and it hurt her that she felt that itty bit of blame) which hurt him so much more than any of the others blaming him. But Bella? He's never felt blame from her. And he can feel everything. This is why he'll die to protect her now, because he knows she accepts him completely, and she loves them all completely, and she will never stop feeling that way. So glad you loved it. :)

Haha - yes Bella needed the girl talk, but it she considered the advice coming from Angela than anything Alice would've suggested. ;) And Bella's faith in Jasper is in part why he's so willing to do what she asks (spending time in close proximity to her which is extremely painful and difficult). Commando and ice melting were taunts that Edwarad would certainly never be able to pass up. Haha

I really love Carlisle and Edward's discussions as well as they have been together so long that they almost have their own language. Jacob, when he's interested in Bella, bothers me too. When he can just be her friend he's okay and I don't mind him so much. So, while I can't promise that Jacob won't be a jerk, I can promise there is not even the possibility of a love triangle. I'm Team Edward all the way. Jacob doesn't know that though. Don't worry, Bella sets him straight. ;)

She will come to understand that, but he also has to come to understand that maybe he never really knew Bella before. He made assumptions based on watching other humans for the last 80 years. She's not like anyone he's ever encountered. Quil makes me smile if for no other reason than his presence keeps things lighter than they might have been if Bella and Jacob had been alone.

Jasper and Alice are my favorite (aside from Bella and Edward of course). I just love their connection and believe that they are the most spirtually connected that even time and distance cannot cause a ripple in that connection. I'm lucky enough to have that kind of connection with my husband, and maybe that's why I'm so drawn to them. Soulmates. What Bella has planned for Rosalie will definitely cause a tantrum to the point the rest of the family is afraid she's going to kill Bella. ;) So much fun!

I love Angela!!! And the fact that Alice was able to zip her "meddling Matilda" mouth and let Angela do pretty much all the talking about the intimate stuff made Bella much more receptive to the advice. ;) Alice is no dummy. Jasper did very well and should be proud of himself. I was so proud of him and loved that he and Alice lindy hopped and jitterbugged all over the dance floor. You just know they had the entire crowd focused on them. The invitation opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

Oh that epiphany was long overdue, but I thought it was pretty awesome the way Bella pointed it out to him in such a round about way to where he couldn't even try to deny it. Once again, I'm humbled and grateful that I was able to move you emotionally with what I wrote. I also have to say that once again, the part about mothers and even the chapter title comes from personal experience. I have been blessed with an amazing stepmother who never once has made me feel like anything other than her own child. The drawing talent surprised me as well, but I was very glad that Bella has something extraordinary (even if she doesn't think of it that way) that is separate and special from anything the Cullens can do. Esme's reaction and conversation with her helped to boost her confidence even more, while at the same time made her realize she really does have a lot more she needs to share with Edward.

The movie was horrible. Well, the choice in movie was at least. But Bella really did have a good time, and yes, you're correct that Jacob is beginning to phase - although none of them realize that's what it is and won't for a while. And not only did Bella and Edward hash out a few more things, but she also got her favorite t-shirt back. Hahahaha Edward the little clepto.

Somewhere in Time will always hold a dear place in my heart and the music? I play it on my piano quite frequently so it overflowed right into the story. And you should have hope. They are making progress at a slower pace, but also a better pace than the first time around as they are learning about each other like a "real couple" would.

What she did to Rosalie made me laugh and cry. Laugh because Rosalie so deserved it, but if you had seen those shoes? Such a shame they were destroyed. No, it's not crazy. I have been told before that I need to issue tissue warnings before some chapters and I almost always forget. I believe you can't predict what will make people cry, but the fact that it moved you so emotionally is such a huge compliment to me that really makes me smile. Thank you for that! It was hard to read (and write) this chapter as it would've been so easy for Bella to just give in and let things go back to how they were. But she had to be strong. She had to remember that she needed to have a place in the relationship, even if that meant keeping him at a distance when all she wanted to do was run into his arms. He needs to work to win her heart this time around. It was also hard to hear the thoughts he was thinking in reaction to what she was saying, because he was really listening to what she was saying and realizing how many mistakes he had made and how much he had taken for granted. Lots of learning for him in this chapter, and honestly, he's just scratched the surface. Bella's no where near done with him yet, hence the closed window. ;)

The way I understand Jasper's power is that he has to be in the room with the person to be able to sense their emotional climate. I also feel the one exception to that is Alice because his connection to her is such a deep spiritual level that he can feel her emotions no matter how far away she is. I enjoy the question and observations though so please continue asking anything you wonder about. It allows me to more fully explain the characters the way I see and hear them. :)

I'm so glad you enjoyed the date. I thought it was a great fun place for a bunch of "teenagers" to get to know each other better and really have good time. I don't think Bella's underwear will ever truly be off the table as a subject, because Emmett just enjoys the Badass Bella Show too much, and he feels that Rosalie helping Edward win the wrestling match means he doesn't have to honor the agreement. ;) Your son sounds like mine. It takes a lot to tear him away from the xbox.
