I like Bella and Edward's time together. Even though he is emotionally stilted, it is the most honest relationship presented so far. Professor is creepy, but I totally understand the fascination of getting into the mind of a killer just to bring them down. I was a criminal justice major and those were my favorite classes. It is the same uphoria as hitting the most amazing sale and bragging about it to all your friends. Although I think the professor needs to get out of the classrom and mingle because he needs to remember what socially acceptable commentary is. So far, my money is on the class friend or someone not yet mentioned or slightly mentioned. I say that the good professor may offer up a bit of knowledge that helps break the case. As for Jasper, I say the Bella should be more upset with him. He waneted the best of both worlds. He wanted both Swan girls and I think he knew Edward wanted Bella and was just making excuses as to why he should not be around. Jasper's selfish ass needs rehab, not Bella and a part-time Rose.

Awwwww I think edward is just jaded from him childhood and just need someone to be there and to listen. He seems protective of Bella and was protective of Maria until jasper got in the picture and pushed edward away.
