Great chapter. I think I've figured some things out. One Bella is Caroline's daughter. Renee ran away from home, had Bella. My guess is when Edward's grandfather saw Bella in Aspen he had some idea who she was. That's why he was so taken with her and part of the reason he took such drastic actions. That would also explain the blood they took from Bella. He had a DNA test run on her. Caius having business at the palace was the final piece of the puzzle for him. Afterall who better for his out of control grandson than someone with royal bloodline. I don't think Edward has put it together, yet. I have a feeling Bella will. Can't wait to see the fireworks that causes.

Another awesome chapter. I'm gonna assume Caroline is Bella's mother, and that she ran away to the states to get away from her family, for whatever reason, leaving Bella as Caius' granddaughter. If this is the correct path you are taking us, then I think Edward's grandfather really knows who Bella is.
