I knew this chapter would get at least one response like yours. I probably would have thought it also, if I'd lived it. My child wasn't as old as Conner, but we had similiar problems. It was very hard being a single woman trying to have a life and to raise a child on my own.
I've said this before, and I'll continue to say it about all of my stories, I'm just the typist. The characters dictate what they say and interact with each other. I have no control once I start typing. *smiles*

Like you I think the libdo in creases with age. Once upon a time, when a woman's husband passed, one of the young men in the village wasmarried to her because they could teach the youbnbg man. Then when the woman passed the same ,man was married to much younger woman, and the cycle repeated its self.

I love your writing. Poor Bella divorced at 46 and at least she has found a friend to keep her busy. Now a guy that young. I could not do that. I would be wanting to mother him. But I say whatever for the rest of the public. Age is just a number.

Thank you so much Darlin'! As for Bella maybe wanting to "mother" Edward, if he was mature and wasn't looking for a mother, it wouldn't happen. Some of this story is based on my own life expereinces. Not everything, but some. LOL. My last divorce my age was only 39, and it was my 3rd. I met my husband - Harry - when I was 43 we've been together now for almost 30 years. *smiles*. Not real sure where this is going to take me story wise. I'm just the typist who's allowed some minor voice on and again.

The problem with the "age" thing is with the difference in Bella and Edward's age if it was to become serious, wouldn't Edward want to have his own child with Bella. She's at that age now where it'd be very dangerous to have another child. While they'd no doubt love a child regardless of what were to happen, what happens to a child who's mentally challenged? Just something that I've personally seen happen when the parents are much older. Don't know where the story is going yet, I let the characaters take the lead and I"m just the typist, once I decide who the characters are within the story. The rest is up to them. *grins*

This was a completely different take on the learning to live/love life again for a divorced person. Adding to the mix the May to December aspect turned up the intensity a notch higher.
Bella's concerns were very realistic.

Thank you. I got one review while the contest was going on saying it was unrealistic. I knew it had to been written by a kid! LOL. The story is semi-biographical. My husband is #4 and I met him about 2 maybe 3 years after my 3rd divorce. But he's 2 years my senior. I did however earn the title of cougar before it even became a term. LOL. I may continue this story. Don't know. I have 2 wips going right now besides my reposting.
