Despite how happy I am that everything is out in the open my heart hurts for Edward with all the complications that arise with Tanya's infidelity. It is, however, pretty cool how all the characters have come together and rallied around him. Rosalie took charge with the children. Alice was quick to defend Charlie's paternity, then again she did backpedal. Bella was there for Edward as Edward fell apart. And yet, despite everything, we just know everything will come out in the wash. Question is how many wash cycles will it take to get there? :)

Holy shit! I never considered that Charlie wouldn't be Edward's biological son. Would Tanya really take him away? Doesn't seem like she wants him anyway, but what if he's James' son?
Oh man, poor Edward! I feel so badly for him, but he is really clueless and has been for years apparently! Wow, Tanya really pulled the wool over his eyes...I'm surprised how naive he was when it came to her and her intentions. Thank God he didn't marry her - although if he had it would be easier to keep custody of their child because he was born into a marriage (even is he isn't his biologically he would have rights).
Please update this soon - the suspense about Charlie's parentage is killing me and Edward needs to have a DNA test done ASAP!

Paternity test is the only way to settle Edward's fears and concerns about Charlie's future. There is no way that James would even want the boy. Tanya hasn't even pushed the issue of wanting to care for the child. Not sure a judge would side with her in a custody battle.
Edward must feel like a fool.
At least Edward now knows Bella's feelings about him and wouldn't reject his advances. For the right reasons, not for his status or for his money.

WoW! Love it or hate it, the truth's been told. The readers have had the advantage of seeing more than one facet of what is going on through the eyes and actions of the characters. Although I have not participated on facebook I have engaged in an occasional peek of others through reviews. In doing so, readers in general, have shared many thoughts. Unfortunately Edward has not had this luxury. The blindside is palpable and, when you think of what is at stake, it is downright painful.
So what is at stake here? Tanya has much to lose. For starters the title of America's sweetheart. Anyone that has watched this fall from fame knows that the fans that put you on top can tear you down. And it is not just Tanya's career that stands to suffer. James, too, could lose clients and favor as being percieved as the man that would break up the family of an infant son ... not to mention an infant child with an illness (so to speak).
My heart goes out to Edward though in that he stands to lose the son that he has come to love so much. Would the courts be so cruel as to take a child from a man that tyruly loves him as a son. Anyway it is spun Charlie stands to lose the most.
And then there is Bella. I believe she will stand by Edward. But what happens if Charlie needs her in order to survive and thrive. Perhaps T/J would find another wet nurse but what if they cannot find another "match". (I obviously know nothing on this subject sp I don't know if mother's milk is "universal" to all babies.) And what if they rip Bella away and her milk is the only answer and while dragging their feet she dries up?
