Edward is safe in the hospital. He's in ICU, which is a locked ward and only family members can be allowed access. Esme can relate to Bella since can relate like a mother to a daughter, which Bella needs desperately. Esme does not know that Bella's pregnant, she's just doting. And for James, you'll learn about his getaway in a few chapters and his accomplices (if there are any) as well.

I SO hope that James will be caught... maybe he survives but he will be found. He can't be fast with the injury in his neck!
So Renee will probably not survive this I suppose, even if they can extinguish the flames, she has swallowed the pill that probably will cause her enough inner damage...I would hope that both survive and will be sentenced to a life behind bars!
But I seriously hope that Edward will not have lasting damages from James' attack...his colleagues will safe him and he will be brought to hospital where later a desperate Bella will find him. But the most important thing is that now it's over and Edward and Bella can hopefully start over and be the family that they deserve to be!
