Hi. No problems. I don't mind questions. If you'll remember back to when Bella first got there and she was asking Demetri why Alec was sleeping, because she thought that vampires never slept, he explained to her how Alec is a born Vampire. His "Mother" for all intents and purposes is Aro as Aro gave birth to him. He explained how Aro, Marcus and Caius were part of an ancient civilization that came to earth, bringing vampirism with them. They were an all male society that had 'Proginitors" (the male part of their society) and "Carriers"(the female part of their society considered to be so only for their ability to get pregnant and give birth to their babies).They are all still male though. So, that is how Alec is able to be pregnant! LOL

Marcus must be at least a little amused by Peter. He says what he thinks and how rare is that around Volterra without a handshake! Thank you for the eye into Edward and Alice. Alice seems to be settling well, but Carlisle's imprisonment must have set Edward back a few feet more. That gives Marcus even more control over him than before. Wonderful work with a lot of punch packed into it! Thank you!

Loved it! Jasper is taking his big boy boots back in relationship to Carlisle etal, and is becoming loved as he should always have been. Glad to see Peter and Charlotte! I stiil say it would be interesting to peak more closely into Edward's "position" and perhaps let Carlisle SEE his " children" being punished for their behavior. Wonderful chapter!

Hey there! Sorry it's taken me a bit to respond but I've been having these pesky headaches that won't leave me alone.
Hopefully, I'll be able to give you that peek into Edward's new life and see just how Carlisle and Esme are handling what their "children" are going through. I think that we have seen that Carlisle isn't happy about them being punished in the least since he tried to get Jasper to see to their welfare. Who knows what else Carlisle may try?

Leave it to Bella to watch over Alec even as she is turning! I find the relationships fascinating as they play out: Caius and Jasper are ardent lovers as are Demitri and Alec. Marcus is happily "training" his new pet, and Felix is still trying to bond with Alice. Among them all is Bella. She is maternally connected to Alec and his child, yet Edward now wishes he had never met her. Hopefully, he will not come to hate or despise her openly or physically. Now wouldn't that be interesting!? Thank you for all the work you put into this. It throws the canon on its ear and fairly sings out, " but what if.....?" Marvelously imaginative!
