One problem with Bella's Plans to ask him to leave, is she forgetting the whole fact that a promise was made to the Volturi. An agreement that if broken will mean death for them all, though Aro would likely keep Alice, Jasper, and Edward making them join the guard. Aro would also possibly turn Bella himself to find out what her blocking of his and Jane's Gifts will become as one of them.
