Edward - so damn stubborn! It is the one thing that has always drove me crazy with him! He doesn't realize just how selfish he is when he is acting the way he does. So damn sure that he is right and everyone else is wrong that he comes across as uncaring of Bella's feelings! No matter how many times she told him (in the book) that she wanted to be with him and be like him he just blew her off and acted like his way was the only freaking way! The Jacob from the books was the same damn way! Neither of these guys gave Bella any freaking credit for her own desires and what she WANTED!!! Of course her stringing Jake along never set well with me either!
So glad to see Bella happy and making friends! She seems in a much better place than she ever was in New York!

I really think going to Forks now would be the best thing for Bella. To many people in NY know what she went through and getting out of the city with all of those tall freaking buildings will do her alot of good. Really sad that Kaycee is such a brat, I feel for her I really do, however she obviously needs some help with regards to her hatred of Bella just because she survived! Her dad really needs to take some responsibility for his daughter's actions where as he is probably letting her get away with everything simply because she lost her mom and sister!

Very sensitive subject matter is right, but I think you can do it the justice it deserves.
Looks like its going to be a great story. I just hope you have the really thick skin your gonna need against the critics.
The only thing I dont understand is why Edward left her trapped for so long, if he would have freed her sooner she may not be so critical right now, but I know your writing, you will explain later so I will defer to your reasoning, lol.

Thank you. :) So far, everyone's been great about the 9/11 aspect of it. So...
He left her where she was for that long for 2 reasons: 1) he didn't want to risk injuring her further while she was doing okay. Yes, she could have been injured further when rescuers got to her, but then she would be minutes away from the emergency response team and the hospital. Until it became immediate, he didn't want to risk it. and 2) There was a part of him that didn't want to take the chance of exposing himself (*laugh*) to Bella and any rescuers who might have seen him. That was secondary, though.
