The Pack done good! I never guessed about Charlie's involvement, who would have thought it. It just goes to show that you never truly know a person. I loved how they got Marcus to rat everyone out, imagine if it really happened one day. So all's well that ends well, the boys are together as is The Pack and now they're going to start a new venture together. Woohoo!!

I have to mention Pippin from that kids programme here who used to fly around in that spotty plane with Linda Baron (Nurse Gladys Emmanuel), lol I used to watch it with my daughter when she was little, did you ever see it? Your stories send my mind all over the place.

Yup Felix had a role to play and he did it well until the right time and enough was enough.
I was thinking of Pippin from LOTR when I wrote this, and I thought the huskies were so damned cute, despite them being one of the more dangerous dogs.
I remember Linda Baron, and Nurse Gladys from Open all hours but sadly I don't remember Come Outside.

I tend to write seat of my pants style, and I couldn't let the boys die. I just started working out the fitness of the characters and how far they could get in what time. The rest fell into place.

This was such a difficult chapter to read due to content. I'm sure reality is worse than what's written here. This took some great creative writing. Your details are phenomenal. I was tense whlie reading Edward's experience and witness of the murder in the drug house. I was reminded of New Jack City. And I'm still in awe of your Chicago neignborhood info. It's like you were born and raised there.

It was a difficult scene to write, but unfortunately necessary. I get a running picture in my head and try my best to translate it to the page. Your compliments are most appreciated.
As for my origins, I am a Brit. But the USA is one of my favorite places to visit, and I have many friends who live there. I have had a stop off in Chicago, but did not get the chance to stay for long, and it was raining. However, when I google places, I do like to get down to street level.
