Louise is appearing quite strong and confident now and as much as I enjoy Dan's dominance, I am enjoying the equality in this chapter. Saying that, I can't wait for them to get home :)

I'd like to know what Dan and Louise look like. Kinda like a physical description. Is he handsome or is she just plain looking? I couldn' place a picture of the characters in my mind.

Although there aren't absolute descriptions, during the story Dan is described, sort of. I've added a couple of bits below.
Hair neither black nor brown, his skin tone quite pale. His profile, though still chiselled, was softer than she’d remembered, sleep blurring the edges. Dark stubble sprouted across his cheek, heavier than the night before.
A dark, fine knit sweater over an open necked white shirt, dark hair, pale skin and brilliant blue eyes. He was good looking, just as she'd remembered, lean and pale with just and edge of louche.
I seem to have been a bit remiss with regards to Louise. She is described as being only slightly shorter than him in heels, so that makes her about 5" 6' in bare feet and Dan about 5" 10'. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned she's blonde, longish hair. Attractive, I'm sure that's mentioned, though not directly, more in his reactions to her.

I would say more plot. You introduced the ex and his son, so they need to be addressed more fully. Also, if they're going to play with rope, etc it shouldn't be a total surprise, but have some conversation about it.

It's an odd one; not quite PWOP but a bit lacking in the plot area, too, I agree. The issue is mostly with me; I'm not talented and/or experienced enough to deal with more than one tale at a time and I've been concentrating on something else. When I sit down to write this, it's usually off the cuff in short spaces of time.
Bottom line, more plot to follow. And as for the rope, I'm not sure this is the case. I see it more as, he brought it out and she didn't say no. Stupid, yes, but lust makes you daft and her trust wasn't misplaced in the end.

Comments really do make the difference, to me at least. Its all very well writing for yourself, but validation from others....puts lead in my pencil? A spring in my fingers? I'm sure you know what I mean.

Oh yes! I love that you threw in a son he hadn't mentioned! I noted that it was also longer, which was awesome. Thank you for the bold too. I will say this, if she's not angry about this then I'll be surprised. He didn't mention a son and she's left high and dry. I would be murderous. Great chapter. Can't wait for the next one! :)

Sorry for the silence. In eight chapters I got one review on my story so you're doing a lot better than me! This chapter was great! I wish you had more time for longer chapters though. I feel like each one is a teaser! I like that you put it in bold. It easier to read.

The bold and italisized font were results of a computer spaz, but I'lm sure I can use bold from now on, thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for reading & commenting. I really have no idea where this story is going and the chapters sort of dictate the flow as and when, including the length. I usually like to write, leave it for a while, then go back and amend but the last two have been off the cuff; written and posted at the same time. You're right, they are sort of teasers but its not intentional, maybe more subliminal as I'm supposed to be concentrating on something else right now! Or when you say teaser do you mean you feel there should be more action...more smut?
i like these conversations.....lol!

What lovely words! More chapters there will be, I'm just not sure when. I'm currently resonstructing 'Desert Diamond' at the behest of a publisher. It's way different to what's posted here and I really need to get it finished before my head explodes!
