HI Matt,  just wanted to congratulate you on a very fine piece of writing.  It may be "rough" as you call it, but it is real.  The abuse was handled compassionately, considering the topic, and not gratuitously.  You're right, we did need to read Emmett's back story, to better understand why he was at the clinic, as well as why he has the scars he has. Just like Carlisle needed to see that not all of Emmett's scars were self-inflicted. Again, congratulations & please continue to write these lovely treasures of yours.

Don't appologize for writing the "tough to read" stuff. It makes the story more realistic. Not all stories are rainbows and unicorns and I appreciate that you risk a lot to put it out there. I am looking forward to reading the last installment. Thank you for writing.
