I really enjoyed this coming of age story. High School can be either heaven or hell. I think it was hell for most people. It was wonderful how Edward help her to see how beautiful she is and leave the haters behind.

LOL...actually I made it up, so you won't be finding it anywhere. I used the picture for inspiration and then the song sort of evolved within the story... sorry.

That was such a great story. My heart broke for Bella living with all of the teasing and ridicule the other kids (including her cousin, shame on you, Em) put her through. I can't begin to tell how big my smile was when Edward talked to her and sang that song to her when he first met her. Of course it only got bigger when he asked her to the dance. I wanted to slap the stupid right out of Jessica and Lauren. It's so sad that there are really people like them who will always pick on people who they perceive to be weaker than them and continue to live their small town lives because they can't rise above their own stupidity.

Great oneshot! ExB is my fav pairing, and you made them so different but yet so good. I love how Bella evolves into a confident woman with Edward's help, and I love him for seeing through all that crap the people in high school were saying and for loving her the way she is. Also, amazing choice of songs!

I love this story! Not only for the "non-tradtional" Bella, but an Edward strong enough to go beyond the social stereotypes and love her. I really like this story. I think it's so sad that some people think that if you don't have the "perfect" body, then you don't deserve respect or love. I feel very sorry for those people.
