i did want to mention a lot of "prophecy" stories are so
typical and so mundane but your story is so unusual and though
somewhat complex, it is easily one of the best if not the best one
i have read. it was so exceptional, so phenomenal, i just wanted
to mention how special i thought this story was.
again, thanks for writing this for our enjoyment. it goes without
saying how talented you are.

i have read this several times and love it each and
every time. i feel sad for edward but it's true he nor his
family would have been able to tolerate the kind of life lived
by the overseer and the keeper. the fightings, the tortures, the
killings...they would not have been able to live any of it, except
perhaps jasper, though it seems that the fates tried to give edward
the chance with bella several times with their meetings at which
edward rejected each and every time. i find it very interesting that
edward hamilton looks like edward as human. hard to explain that
one since edward had nothing to do with bella's pregnancy so
i can only guess it has something to do with magic/mystical for his
sacrifice. i would have loved to see tanya live through the battle
only to be tortured by bella for her actions. i am sad this story had to
come to an end...wish somehow it can be continued. thanks for writing this
fabulous piece and looking forward to more perhaps if you decide to
grace us again with your talent.

It's wonderful to read another story that proves that there is more to fan fiction than lemons. The plot was imaginative and very original. I loved the mixture of canon creatures and mythology, very clever. I really enjoyed that you stepped out of the usual Bella moved on and Edward suddenly jumps back in and bam they're back together. I found Gabriel a very credible match, and what a novelty to see the Volturi (well some of them) actually being somewhat good guys.
I actually cried when Edward died, I never do that! I was pleased it was an honourable death, it suited him and fit the story well.I just knew that as soon as the sword of light someone, a major player for certain would be dieing, I'm glad you didn't choose the obvious with Gabriel/Isabelle.
Over all a cracking good read, I'm glad I found it, and will no doubt read it again sometime.

So, I'm seriously in awe with this story. I absolutely LOVED it! I'm always hesitant on reading "prophecy" stories or stories where Bella is some special creature. Either the plot is boring or the writing is terrible.
Not only is your plot amazing but your writing was horrible at all. Sure there were a few grammatical errors but that happens.
I'm sad that Edward could never get over Bella. I was hoping that he would eventually find a mate but I understand what Alice was saying in the epilouge. Edward loved her so much that in the end, he would go crazy. I'm glad to see a little Eddie though.
I think what I love most is that you didn't put lemons in your story. Sure, I'm all up for a lemon every so often but it seems like lately a lot of stories seem to center around lemons or writer's and readers are only excited about the lemons. Your story however made me more anxious and excited than any story that had lemons. I'm all for the plot, lemons are just unncessary.
I'm hoping that you could write more about the Hamilton's and the Cullen's. It doesn't have to be another story. Maybe a few one shots. I would love to see the Cullen's interact with little Edward. I could see Emmett wrestling with him and Esme coddling him and Carlisle teaching him. It would be fun to see.
Anyways, enough of my ranting. Once again, LOVED the story and I think you did an excellent job!

wow... Very original plot. I had a hard time dealing with the no Bella/Edward romance but the way it ended did make up for that. Ans also it first story I read from start to finish that it end with Bella and another character. Love the whole story chapter by chapter. By the way does Eddie's eyes been green was a way to make him look more like Edward wasn't it?

To an extent yes because they know a part of her he doesn't (before she knew about the prophecy) and because of their closeness to Edward. But because they are mated he sees them as more of an inconvenience than a threat.
