Well this sounds much more preferable than the unwatched final espisode. Still can't bring myself to insert it in the DVD player after all this time. Liked your mature Sookie character, she has such depth. Delightful piece. Thank you.

jules3677: Thank you! Glad you liked it! (I loved writing fix-it fics there for a while...) I so don't blame you for not bothering with that final ep. The last scenes of Eric? Made me heartsick.... And Sookie? She was literally foisted off on a crew member with muscular arms. It was a stunning failure of everything the show had supposedly been about. If you've held out this long, I honestly wouldn't bother watching it...unless you want to see what led up to my other story The Moon, that is...

TheLadyKT: That's a peeve I've had with it all, too. Either she or her "dear darling" Gran one should have brought up taking night classes or on-line classes, something to gain her an education. If she went to the library every other day like she supposedly did in canon, then they'd have had a public-access computer where she could have done her on-line classes until she could save up for a computer and internet of her own if nothing else.
