I updated the story Unforeseen Events because I was dissatisfied with it, but I met with reader outcry when I said I was going to update it. Some people like UE just the way it is. Others prefer this version, which is better written and more detailed.

I'm not sure what you heard about my husband. He's fine, albeit a worrywart. LOL. One of my sons, who goes by the nickname of Techwiz, needs open heart surgery. Perhaps you're referring to him. Anyway, I do thank you for your well-wishes.

So sorry to hear that you're having a hard time with your disability. Service dogs are such a blessing! I'm glad you have Montana Lynn and that your kids can take care of themselves now. I hope you have good support people to help you out!
